With over 23 years of experience, Tresha has excelled as the Executive Director of the Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry & Support Center. Her journey began as the Education Coordinator for Bastrop’s Family Crisis Center, where she dedicated eight years to the non-profit sector before transitioning to her current role. Tresha's educational background includes studies at Austin Community College, complemented by a certificate in non-profit management from the University of Texas at Austin. Tresha is currently attending Huston Tillotson University and studying Business Administration.
Acknowledged for her advocacy for seniors, Tresha was appointed by former Bastrop County Judge Ronnie McDonald to represent the county on the Capital Area Council of Governments Aging Advisory Council. Her commitment led her to serve on the council for four years, two of which she chaired. In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Tresha received the Point of Light Award from the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce in 2004 and was a runner-up for Bastrop Country’s Best Community Volunteer in 2007.
Tresha's dedication to combating hunger earned her the distinction of being named a "Hunger Hero" by the Central Texas Food Bank in 2017. This prestigious recognition highlights her significant role in fulfilling the organization's mission of providing hunger relief to vulnerable populations.
