Tresha has served as Executive Director of Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry & Support Center since 2001. Tresha began her career as Education Coordinator for Bastrop’s Family Crisis Center and worked eight years in the non-profit sector before joining the Food Pantry. She attended Austin Community College and holds a certificate in non-profit management from the University of Texas at Austin.

Former Bastrop County Judge Ronnie McDonald recognized her work advocating for seniors by appointing her to represent Bastrop County on the Capital Area Council of Governments Aging Advisory Council. She served on that committee for four years, two of which as Council Chair. In 2004, Tresha received Bastrop Chamber of Commerce’s Point of Light Award and, in 2007, was runner up for Bastrop Country’s Best Community Volunteer. Tresha was recently singled out by the Central Texas Food Bank of Texas as a 2017 "Hunger Hero"--outstanding individuals and organizations that have played a key role in fulfilling that organization's mission of providing hunger relief to vulnerable populations.
