Educational Workshops

Changes in spending habits and changes in food choices can make a sometimes dramatic difference in family budgets, family nutrition, student success and family health. How to make those changes is the focus on of the Food Pantry’s free educational workshops. These short courses—each lasting about an hour and held once a month—address budgeting, menu planning, shopping tips and nutrition. The courses center on the extremely important role that good nutritional choices play in health for the entire family and, among young families, their children’s success in school.
