Our Mission

The Mission of the Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry & Support Center is to serve all people in Bastrop County with hunger-related needs and support services which may include providing emergency food, information, referral counseling and support services for families and the elderly.

Where Can Residents Get Help in a Crisis?
The Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry & Support Center, Inc. aids anyone in its service area who find theirself in a crisis which leads to an insecurity around purchasing quality provisions for theirself or their family. Persons in need may obtain assistance according to the following schedule.

Walk-in assistance: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Assistance by appointment only: 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

* For emergency assistance, please bring

• A photo identification (driver's license, student or Work ID)
• Proof of Bastrop County residency (utility bill) and
• Proof of your emergency (receipt from medical bills, auto repair, deposits from a move, high electric bill, pending or denial of food stamps)
