Something most people are unaware of is that $1.00 buys eight pounds of food at the Capital Area Food Bank. So, donation dollars allow the Food Pantry to purchase healthy, nutritious foods for our clients at a fraction of the cost of foods purchased at local grocery stores. Therefore, cash donations actually reach farther to feed more people. Please consider this when you are contemplating your donation decision. All donations are fully tax deductible.
Participate in our food/fundraising events: Empty Bowl Project, Choir Fest, Ask Campaign, Hunger Buster Bowl and the Holiday Appeal Campaign.
And of course, we need volunteers, lots of them. To pick up,sort, pack and deliver food, fans, serve at the Soup Kitchen, Fresh Food For Families and other tasks.
You may donate via PayPal using your account or a credit card. Just click on the PayPal link under the navigation buttons on any of our pages. It will take you to a secure page at PayPal set up to accept donations for us.
| Sacrificial Few Club Consistent donations are the backbone to our operations. Please considering becoming a Sacrificial Few Club member and spread the donation of your choice through the year in regular monthly payments. Typically, our Sacrificial Few Club members give $25.00 on a monthly basis. A little bit a month, goes a long way.
